Together with the Smart Africa Alliance, the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) has launched the “Smart Africa Digital Academy (SADA)” to promote secure Internet access in Africa through better regulation. Federal Minister Gerd Müller was the only non-African member of the government to take part in the virtual board meeting of the 30 heads of state and government of the Smart Africa Alliance. He confirmed that the Smart Africa Digital Academy runs technically via the e-learning platform atingi, which was set up by the BMZ. The full press release can be found here.
